Seminar exercise

Air Strike training seminar
(Group size maximum 150) An extended High Flyers presentation covering the
Flypast areas of focus, and incorporating an additional breakout practical training exercise covering the High Flyers approach to:

    >Performance Development - From the first flight on pilot's course to the 100th combat mission, military pilots follow the same cycle of 'Plan..Brief..Fly..Debrief'. Create a culture of continuous improvement in your business by employing the 'Performance Development Cycle'.

    >Successful Execution - Before every mission, professional flying teams brief to ensure successful execution of the plan. Setting SMART objectives and using the High Flyers Brief to prepare your team for their next business mission is the critical first step towards your success.

    >Superior Performance - Learn how high performance flying teams consistently achieve their objectives by mastering the 'Six Keys to Success'.

    >Performance analysis - After every mission, fighter pilots use a formal 'No name / no blame' debrief to work out if objectives were achieved, how and why things happened and how to improve. The High Flyers Debrief is a checklist which enables any team to use this powerful process.

    >Dynamic Instruction - Effective communication in the dynamic world of military aviation can mean the difference between life and death. If your team is serious about getting training, coaching and communication right first time, they need to learn the skill of Dynamic Instruction.

    >Critical Outcome Planning - Making critical decisions is a core skill for any flying team. Your team can use the Critical Outcome Planning Checklist to achieve consistently successful outcomes.

Team-building exercises (2-4 hours)
>To provide your team of 4 to 100 with a fun but challenging experiental team-building exercise.

  • Spy Plane Down
A half day outdoor team-building exercise.
View brochure. Your F-111 low level reconnaissance jet has just been shot down behind enemy lines, leaving you with just your parachute, an escape map and your emergency radio. Can your team still complete the assigned mission while escaping and evading the enemy? Will you make it safely to the designated extraction point in time to be rescued?
  • The Birdman of Colditz
A half day indoor or outdoor team-building exercise. After being shot down during WW2, you and your team are imprisoned in Colditz castle. The only means of escape appears to be for those with wings. An impossible task, but not for a determined team with improvised materials.
  • CSI - Crash Scene Investigation
A two hour indoor or outdoor team-building exercise. Your team has been called upon to determine the cause of a recent air crash of a Flying Doctor aircraft in the Australian desert. Piece together information from experts and evidence from the crash site to come up with the cause, and get the Flying Doctor flying again.
  • Flying High
A two hour indoor team-building exercise. Your airline team of Captain, Co-pilot, Second Officer and Chief Flight Attendant must get your passengers safely from Melbourne to Sydney. An easy task with automated aircraft, but with fog rolling in at Sydney shortly after takeoff, there are now some decisions to be made.
